Torsion Springs
Mounted horizontally above the door opening on a steel shaft, torsion springs store energy by twisting. They provide smoother, more balanced operation and last longer than extension springs. The industry standard for most residential and commercial doors.
Extension Springs
Mounted on either side of the door above the horizontal tracks, extension springs stretch and contract as the door moves. Common on older residential doors and lighter-duty applications. We always replace both springs simultaneously to ensure balanced operation.
High-Cycle Springs
Rated for 25,000–100,000 cycles, high-cycle springs are ideal for busy households, rental properties, and commercial applications where the door operates many times per day. A worthwhile upgrade that dramatically extends the service interval.
Galvanized Springs
Coated to resist corrosion from the Lower Mainland's wet climate. Galvanized springs last significantly longer than standard oil-tempered springs in coastal and high-humidity environments.
